Registration for A L’ARME 2026 is open.
The event will take place from 12:00 midnight on Friday, October 9, to 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 11, 2026, near the village of Strabatenza, in the locality of Penultimaspiaggia (MAPS), in the Foreste Casentinesi National Park, on the border between Romagna and Tuscany.
A L’ARME is an immersive event reserved for reenactors, dedicated to camp life, the frontier, military discipline, and the creation of a shared historical setting.
Participation does not include activities for the public: every registered participant will be an active part of the experience and must contribute, according to their role, to the life of the outpost.

At the time of registration, applicants may put themselves forward for one of the following roles.
Infantryman
The infantryman will be assigned to the Garrison and placed under a squad leader. He will take part in the military life of the outpost, duty shifts, assigned tasks, patrols, and the activities planned by the organizers.
Squad Leader
The squad leader must attend with at least 4 infantrymen and his own tent. He will be responsible for his men, their conduct, and their equipment, and will be subject to the Captain’s orders.
Smuggler
Smugglers will be selected directly by the organizers according to the needs of the event. This is a demanding role, connected to life in the woods, discreet movement, and reduced equipment.
Civilian
Civilians will be assigned according to availability, skills, and the needs of the setting. They may contribute to the life of the outpost, the management of the Tavern, the daily activities of the camp, and the creation of the event’s social context.
Participation Fees
The registration fee is:
€70 for squad leaders
€50 for all other participants
Payment must be made by August 30, 2026, by bank transfer.
Payment details, including the IBAN, are provided in the event rules, available for download as a PDF.
Registration will be considered confirmed only after the fee has been paid.
The fee includes food for the entire duration of the event, according to the arrangements established by the organizers. On Friday evening, before the official start, the traditional communal dinner will be held: food and drinks to share will be welcome. From the official start of the event onward, however, it will be forbidden to consume food or drinks not provided or approved by the association.
Any allergies, intolerances, or dietary requirements must be communicated at the time of registration. Equipment and Requirements
All participants must attend with clothing and equipment consistent with the period and the event setting. For the general rules, reference will be made to the “GUEST GUIDE” guide indicated in the regulations. Weapons, protective gear, and equipment will be assessed by the supervisors. Participation in combat activities will be subject to equipment checks and compliance with safety rules.
