A L’ARME was born from the desire to rediscover the authentic spirit of reenactment events: being together, sharing experiences, exchanging ideas, and experiencing history in a simple, direct, and engaging way.
For Famaleonis, these moments have always been more than ordinary activities.
They are opportunities to strengthen friendships, welcome new participants, explore roles and situations, and build a form of historical reenactment made not only of objects and clothing, but also of relationships, gestures, rhythms, and shared daily life.
The 2026 edition will take participants to the Foreste Casentinesi National Park, on the border between Romagna and Tuscany, near the village of Strabatenza, in the locality of Penultimaspiaggia (MAPS).
The event will begin at 12:00 midnight on Friday, October 9, and end at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 11, 2026.
The historical setting will be that of a frontier outpost between 1460 and 1490. A Sforza company, with men-at-arms and mercenaries in the service of the Duke of Milan, guards the area to counter clandestine trafficking along the Apennine trails.
Participants may be assigned to the Garrison, taking part in the military life of the camp, or to the civilian roles necessary for the outpost’s operation. Some will instead be chosen to take on the role of Smugglers, forced to move through the woods with limited resources, great caution, and precise objectives to accomplish.
The Tavern, the communal dinner, duty shifts, patrols, camp activities, and shared moments will help create a complete experience, designed for those who wish to experience reenactment in a deeper and more participatory way.
